Scott plays a vast array of guitars, from acoustics to electrics, on The Pillbugs' recordings. His ability to colorize the music is a huge part of their sound. Scott is in demand for many musical projects in the Toledo area. That combined with teaching keeps his guitar in his hands constantly. Scott wrote Broken Ringing Bells on the first Pillbugs CD.
